At Crezia Colombian Coffee, our journey is steeped in a rich heritage of passion and dedication to Colombian coffee. Founded by Luis Ortega and Lucrezia Achury, our family's story began in 1982 with the purchase of the 14-acre coffee farm Samaniego in Acevedo, Colombia. Over the years, they nurtured not only their farm but also their nine children, instilling in each a deep appreciation for coffee cultivation. Edgar and Victor Ortega, among their children, have carried forward this legacy, overseeing our farms Samaniego and La Fortuna. In 2023, joined by their nephew Andrey Perez, they established Crezia Colombia Coffee, aiming to share our family's tradition and coffee with the world. As we continue to honor the traditions passed down through generations, we fondly remember Edgar, who left us in August of 2023. His spirit and dedication to our craft remain an integral part of our journey.
